KIDS GROUP LESSONS

Ballroom dancing enables children and teens to interact with peers in a safe environment and build health relationships.
Kids will build confidence in themselves and their abilities, helping to develop healthy self-esteem.
Dancing motor skills and body awareness through precise movements and body isolation.
We will help inspire them to express themselves through music and movement.
Dancing promotes a healthy lifestyle and improves mood, cardiovascular stamina and strength.
We teach the important of practice, dedication and focus (qualities they will need in real life!)
Dancing encourages collaboration and cooperation with dance partners and instructors while requiring critical thinking and problem solving.

BEGINNER KIDS GROUP
Our beginner kids group is suitable for kids with no prior ballroom dancing experience. In this group, our instructor focuses on teaching students how to identify the various styles of ballroom dancing, how to count music and how to dance basic steps. The steps taught are typically at the NDCA bronze level.
Classes run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
INTERMEDIATE KIDS GROUP
Our intermediate kids group is suitable for students who have already danced ballroom for a2-3 years. Intermediate dancers are taught more complex figures from the NDCA silver level along with partnership skills.
Classes run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
ADVANCED KIDS GROUP
Our advanced kids group is suitable for dancers who have been practicing ballroom for at least 5-6 years. This group performs NDCA gold level routines and the instructor has a heavy focus on drilling proper technique and helping students develop musicality and dynamic rhythm in their movements.
Classes run on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
